RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Roblox is a game that has become extremely popular with young teenagers across the globe, but the game’s increased usage has resulted in what some describe as predatory behavior.
Officials in Florida have launched a criminal investigation into Roblox, accusing the game of failing to do enough to protect minors from predators who lure them through the app’s chat feature.
“Roblox profited off of our kids while exposing them to the most dangerous of harms,” said James Uthmeier, Florida’s Attorney General. “They enabled our kids to be abused. Companies like Roblox have become breeding grounds for predators to get to and have access to our kids.”…
