United Nissan Reno spreads Halloween cheer to domestic violence families

More than 4,200 people rely on the Domestic Violence Resource Center each year — and calls for help have increased by 22% since 2022.

This month, United Nissan Reno decided to give back by surprising the center’s youngest residents with a special Halloween delivery. Staff brought costumes, candy, games, and other goodies to children staying in the center’s residential program, which provides both short- and long-term emergency shelter for survivors and their families.

“We’re going down to the Domestic Violence Resource Center and what we’ve done is we’ve gone and gotten a bunch of costumes, candy, games — just a bunch of stuff so they can have a fun, exciting Halloween,” said Karl Forman, general manager of United Nissan Reno…
