Clocks to ‘fall back’ at 2 a.m. Sunday for end of Daylight Saving Time

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Daylight Saving Time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 2.

“As we prepare our clocks to ‘fall back’ for the end of Daylight Saving Time, this is a chance to also prepare your home and family for fire and weather,” according to a U.S. National Weather Service in Elko Facebook post.

The post recommended replacing batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the U.S. Fire Administration said most alarms need new batteries every year…
