Northwestern Nevada and northeastern California are under a high wind warning that will remain in effect until 10 p.m. Wednesday. The greater Reno, Carson City and Lake Tahoe areas should see southwest winds 35 to 45 mph, with gusts of up to 65 mph in valleys and ridgetop gusts up to 110 mph.
