LYON COUNTY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada (CCNN) announced expanded hours and additional days of service for the St. Vincent’s Food Pantry. CCNN representatives say that in response to a significant increase in the number of people and families seeking food assistance this week, CCNN is taking steps to ensure that no one in need goes hungry.
“The increased demand we’ve seen in recent weeks underscores how many of our neighbors are struggling,” Marie Baxter, CEO of Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada, said in a statement. “By extending our food pantry hours and offering convenient meal options, we’re working to make food assistance more accessible for families across Northern Nevada.”
The extended schedule will remain in effect through the end of November…
