RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Attorney General Aaron Ford is hosting several community events throughout Nevada to talk with local leaders and community members about the issues they are most concerned about in our region.
“Working families are struggling to make their mortgage payments. They’re struggling to make their car payments,” says AG Ford. “They’re struggling to make payments for things they need every single day. Homelessness and housing costs are at record highs. There are literally Nevadans out there right now. You might know some of them. I read the stories, but you may know some of them who are actually donating their blood to pay their rent and there’s no sign of relief in sight.”
Attendees shared a number of concerns ranging from immigration policies to affordable housing and food costs…
