The City of Reno will hold its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Reno City Plaza. The event is part of the 2025 Holiday Lights Festival, which starts at 4 p.m. and continues through November 29. The festival is organized by Great American Craft Fairs. Mayor Hillary Schieve said the event is a holiday tradition for the community.
The two-day festival will include local artisan vendors, photos with Santa, train rides, live music, holiday movies, craft zones for children, food trucks, local breweries, and warm beverages.
