A months-long search for a missing Sierra County man has taken a grim turn, authorities said this week.
In a Monday update, the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office said it believes Gil Clark, 78, who vanished in August, “likely suffered a medical emergency near his home that incapacitated him or resulted in his death.”
Evidence “further indicates he was likely dragged from the area by a bear or mountain lion,” the agency said…
