CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – Northbound Interstate 580 at College Parkway and northbound traffic on North Carson Street will reopen at 10 p.m. at the earliest after a fatal hit-and-run wreck on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 5:26 p.m., according to the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
The incident happened after a woman who was walking on northbound I580 between North Carson Street and Eastlake Boulevard in Carson City was struck and killed by a northbound vehicle, Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) Public Information Officer Chris Brown said.
