Reno resident arrested after county workers report violent threats

Violent and threatening messages sent to several Washoe County Human Services Agency employees prompted a Washoe County Sheriff’s Office investigation that led to the arrest of a Reno resident.

According to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in an online post, several HSA employees reported receiving numerous phone calls, voicemails, and text messages on November 19 that allegedly included threats of sexual assault, murder, and active-shooter violence aimed at them and their workplace.
