It’s only the middle of November and Reno already has a surplus for the water year, which begins October 1st. On average Reno sees closer to seven inches of precipitation for the entire water year, so we still have a long ways to go overall, but we’re doing well for where we are right now.
A quarter of an inch of rain fell in Reno over the past 24 hours, and we’ve seen around an inch and a half of rain during the month of November alone. Around three fourths of an inch fell in October.
