“We’re just going to plug these into our system. And everything’s going to operate like it always has,” said Paul Nelson, Government Affairs Officer with the Regional Transit Commission.
Recently, the RTC announced it received a $21.5 million federal grant through the Low or No-Emission Vehicle Program. Those funds, combined with $5.5 million from the RTC, will fund 19 new buses to replace the same number of electric ones currently in operation.
