U.S. Capital Christmas Tree facts

CARSON CITY, Nev. (KOLO) – The U.S. Capital Christmas Tree traveled 3,700 miles from Carson City to Washington, D.C. beginning Saturday, Nov. 1 and arriving at its destination on Friday, Nov. 21, according to an American Trucking Association Facebook post.

It began at the Nevada Day Parade and made 15 stops at communities across the United States.

The Silver Belle, which is 53 feet tall, was transported by Knight-Swift Transportation in a Kenworth T680 paired with a custom Hale trailer with viewing windows and a public signature banner.
