Microtransit service in Incline Village and Crystal Bay ending December 11

Incline Village’s popular on-demand shuttle service is coming to an end next month. TART Connect announced it will cease operations in its Nevada service area, Zone 3, which covers Incline Village and Crystal Bay, on December 11 because of a lack of long-term funding.

The curb-to-curb microtransit program has been widely considered one of the region’s most successful mobility efforts. Since launching, it has provided more than one million rides throughout North Lake Tahoe, helping ease traffic, reduce pollution and cut down on parking issues. About 65% of riders are full-time residents.
