Weather pattern is changing, becoming more open to inside sliders

Over the weekend, a ridge of high pressure will build in the ocean allowing for systems to sneak into Nevada from the north. The pattern looks like a slide, with a ridge in the ocean and a trough to the east. This allows for little waves to slide down the eastern border of the ridge. A slider type system will move into northeast Nevada early Sunday, giving the higher terrain of Elko County up to a few inches of snow. Roadways could get up to an inch.
