Gang member arrested in Reno after chase leads to school lockdown, police say

A police chase led to a lockdown at Billinghurst Middle School on Thursday, according to the Reno Police Department.

Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) unit detectives were attempting to locate Shabryon Jones, 39, after developing probable cause for his arrest on crimes related to pandering, as well as knowledge of an active parole warrant. Authorities say Jones is known to the Regional Gang Unit as a California based gang member with an extensive criminal history.
