On December 5, 2025, the Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) announced a proposed permit for R&K Ready Mixed Concrete in the Reno/Sparks area. The AQMD has completed a preliminary review and is considering issuing the Permit to Construct.
