A man was arrested after he jumped into the Truckee River while evading police in Reno Tuesday night.
The Reno Police Department (RPD) responded to the 700 block of Mill Street after reports of domestic disturbance. Authorities say the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Pietro Short, was trying to get into his ex-girlfriend’s home, but he left before officers arrived.
Officers found the car and attempted a traffic stop, but Short drove away. He eventually stopped near Lake and Mill Streets…
