RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Great Golden Gryphons (G3) Robotics Team at Honors Academy of Literature has been selected to represent Nevada at the 2026 Governor’s Cup in Washington, D.C. this February.
This prestigious national event highlights robotics teams that demonstrate exceptional engineering skills, innovation, and community impact. Despite being one of the few middle school-only teams competing against high school teams across Nevada, G3 consistently excels through determination, innovation, and teamwork. Their achievements, combined with their extensive outreach efforts, earned them the honor of representing Nevada on a national stage.
