RENO, Nev. – Two American masters records were set at the Reno Tahoe Indoor Track inside the Reno-Sparks Convention Center during the USATF Pacific Association Holiday Invitational (Dec. 27–28).
David Gibbon of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, ran 24.30 seconds in the men’s 200 meters on Saturday to set a new American masters record in the 60-64 age group. The performance broke the previous U.S. mark of 24.32, set in 2011, and was 0.02 seconds off the world record.
