Rain is expected to return to Carson City as early as Wednesday afternoon and the possibility of continued rain – and some snow – is in the forecast through early next week, according to the National Weather Service (weather.gov).
The first wave of rain moves in Wednesday and then lessens Thursday and Friday, the NWS said. Saturday, the next wave is expected and cooler temperatures will progressively lower snow levels to the upper reaches of Carson City by Monday morning.
