Popular health trend ‘Dry January’ sparks conversations on health benefits of sober living

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Dry January is a growing trend: many people give up alcohol on January 1 to improve physical and mental wellbeing. But quitting can be challenging—many social situations revolve around sharing a drink.

A research article from UC Davis cites that dry January has several health benefits including:
