The snow level will drop over the next 48 hours, reaching the valley floor Monday morning. By Monday, a good part of the moisture will be gone, but a light amount of snow could fall for the morning commute. Reno has yet to see measurable snow at the airport where it counts for the record books. Reno usually sees just over five inches of snow during the month of December alone. January is the same. Much of Tahoe is already at or below freezing as of 9:30pm Saturday night.
