A soggy Sunday is on tap for today, with another round of soaking rains in the lower valleys and a good amount of snow for Lake Tahoe and in the Sierra.
More soaking rain, freezing rain at times, is expected for the lower valleys including the Greater Reno Area. There’s about an 80% chance of rain on Sunday in Reno. Expect slick roads throughout the day and possible localized flooding. For South Lake Tahoe, it’s moderate to heavy snow showers during the day. Several inches of fresh inches of snow is expected today around the lake, with even more snow accumulating by the end of day Monday.
