More showers expected for Reno, Lake Tahoe on Monday

After a busy weather weekend here in the Sierra, the active weather trend is set to stick around Monday. Starting off in Reno, we’re expected to see a high of 48 degrees to start the work week, coupled with chances of scattered showers throughout the day.

A pair of winter storm warnings is set to expire on Monday. The first ends at 10 a.m. after an expected one to three inches of snow hits South Lake Tahoe overnight. A winter weather advisory for Lassen, Plumas, and Sierra counties is also predicted to expire at 10 a.m.
