An inmate who died in Carson City jail is now being investigated by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say the unidentified inmate died just after 1:45 pm. on Saturday.
They say he had been in custody since November 19, 2025 after a judge issued a warrant for Failure to Appear and his arrest in Reno. The inmate’s original custody charge was Indecent Exposure, taking place on November 23, 2022, and an additional Contempt of Court Warrant arrest was recorded on February 17, 2023 resulting from the same original offense…
