The weather pattern is staying fairly similar over the next few days thanks to that giant ridge of high pressure parked just to our west. Sunday is looking great, however, there will be a lot more clouds in the sky compared to the last few days.
Temperatures are staying above average for the next little while. On Saturday, Reno made it to 54 degrees, with South Lake Tahoe making it to 48 degrees.
Sunday is expected to start off cold and somewhat hazy, thanks to on-going inversions in place. Around 8 AM, expect mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the lower valleys hovering in the upper 20s. By about noon, temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Reno’s forecasted high for Sunday is 55 degrees, the average is just 48 degrees.
Around South Lake Tahoe, it’s a much colder start to the day. If you’re heading out for Sunday morning church or breakfast, be sure to grab a jacket! Temperatures around breakfast time will be hovering in the lower 20s, gradually warming into the upper 40s by noon. South Lake Tahoe’s forecasted high is just 48 degrees.
