Reno, Nevada – A relatively quiet winter pattern is expected across Nevada from Friday through early the following week, with limited opportunities for precipitation and temperatures trending close to seasonal norms across much of the state.

According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, the 8 to 14-day outlook for Jan. 30 through Feb. 5 places Nevada largely within a near-normal temperature zone, positioning the state on the western edge of a broad cold pattern dominating the central and eastern United States.
