Reno City Council to vote on rezoning for boutique hotel at Lakeridge Golf Course

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Reno City Council is expected to consider and vote on whether to rezone a 12-acre site within the Lakeridge Golf Course to make way for a boutique hotel project.

The major redevelopment proposal, first introduced last April, would include a restaurant, spa and hotel, event space and recreational areas on the site of the course’s old driving range just south of McCarran Blvd.

In order for the project to proceed, the parcel must be rezoned from parks, greenways and open space to a ‘specific plan district,’ which requires city approval…
