Idaho–Nevada–Utah Weather Update: Warmest Above-Normal Temperatures Lead the Nation Early February

Boise, Idaho – The warmest stretch of above-normal temperatures in the country is expected to center on the Intermountain West during the first full week of February, with Idaho leading a pronounced warm-up that will feel more like early spring than midwinter.

According to the National Weather Service and NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, temperatures from Tuesday through the following Monday are favored to run well above normal across Idaho, Nevada, and Utah. In southern Idaho, including Boise, Twin Falls, and the Treasure Valley, daytime highs are expected to climb into the upper 40s and 50s, running 10 to 20 degrees above typical early February levels.
