Reno’s Emily Skyle-Golden to receive top honor at Nevada Women’s Film Festival
The Nevada Women’s Film Festival, set to take place in Las Vegas March 19-22, has announced that its 2026 Nevada Woman of Achievement award will go to Reno’s Emily Skyle-Golden, founder of the Cordillera International Film Festival.
Skyle-Golden is also a writer, director and producer whose projects have appeared on HBO, Disney+ and Hallmark. She leads the Film Northern Nevada Initiative, a team that works to provide infrastructure and support for local productions; and the Future Filmmakers Foundation, which pairs aspiring filmmakers with professional mentors…
