A man is in police custody following a standoff in the 1800 block of Sullivan Lane in Sparks.
The incident began when police received a call just before 8 p.m. Saturday night regarding an attempted carjacking. Officers tried to make a traffic stop on the stolen car, but the suspect fled and stopped on a curb on Sullivan Lane.
