1. Scarlett Ferris re-sets Nevada, Mountain West record in 100-meter backstroke
In the Nevada swim and dive team’s 143-80 loss at UCLA on Saturday, junior Scarlett Ferris broke the Wolf Pack and Mountain West record in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 50.78. Ferris already held both records with a time of 51.16 seconds set earlier this season. Ferris also holds Nevada records in the 50 free (21.91) and 100 free (49.00) as well as the 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 medley relay.
