(Sparks, NV) – A domestic dispute at the Nugget Casino leads to one person arrested. Sparks City Attorney Wes Duncan says police were called to the casino on September 20 after a woman was hit by her fiancee, Jose Medina-Medina, after he reportedly found text messages indicating a possible affair. She told police he threw her phone and shattered it, then punched her in the head, eye, and ribs, and pulled her hair. The incident caused her to briefly “black out.” Medina-Medina initially denied hitting her and admitted to arguing and grabbing her purse, and he claimed her physical injuries were self-inflicted.
