Le Bel posted an NAIA No. 2 and season’s best height of 4.90 meters (16-0 ¾) to take third place out of nine. The senior came in at 4.75 meters, cleared it on his third attempt, then vaulted over the 4.90m bar on his third try to set the new SOU indoor program record. It’s his best indoor performance since last year’s NAIA Indoor Championships where he placed fourth (4.85m).
Stedman won heat two of the men’s mile with a time of 4 minutes 16.72 seconds. Due to the Biggest Little City Indoor Track sitting at 4,450 feet of altitude, it converts to 4:11.97, good enough for the NAIA ‘B’ standard and the 13th fastest time in the nation. He placed sixth overall in a field of 41 and closed the last 400 meters in 60.1 seconds…
