Two people were killed Sunday night in a wrong-way head-on crash on U.S. Highway 395 near the California-Nevada state line, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch logs.
The incident was first reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday, when callers told authorities a vehicle was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes near the Bordertown area just north of the state line.
