NWS: ‘Rain likely’ for Carson City with highs in the 60s

Tuesday will be wet – but not snowy – in Carson City and high temperatures will reach well into the 60s by the end of the week, the National Weather Service said.

In an updated forecast posted Sunday morning at weather.gov, the NWS said rain now will not arrive until Tuesday and will last through Wednesday morning. All mention of snow has been removed from the local forecast since Friday.

Additionally, the warming trend that began this weekend will continue with daytime highs climbing into the 60s as early as Wednesday…
