SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The Sparks City Council on Monday unanimously approved a new 3-year contract with SoundThinking Inc., formerly known as ShotSpotter, for gunshot detection services in the Rail City.
Under the agreement, the company’s system will continue to alert police officers to the precise location of gunfire through 2029.
