Nevada’s high desert is bracing for powerful wind gusts this morning, and the air already feels restless across Reno. Loose branches sway, trash bins rattle, and drivers along I-580 and U.S. 395 are noticing crosswinds. The Wind Advisory remains in effect until 7 PM this evening.
The National Weather Service in Reno reports southwest winds between 15 and 25 mph today. Gusts may reach 40 mph in the Reno-Carson City-Minden area.
