A new restaurant inspired by “vaquero” or cow herder cuisine is gearing up to open this spring in one of Reno’s oldest neighborhoods.
Kevin Christiansen is bringing his family’s cantina concept from California to Northern Nevada, with plans to open the new Rancho Cantina Reno restaurant at 700 Riverside Drive.
“My family has been involved with Rancho Cantina in Lafayette, California,” Christiansen told the Reno Gazette Journal. “I’m now bringing that family-rooted concept to Reno — a city we’re proud to call home.”…
