RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – The Reno Police Department is continuing efforts to combat human trafficking and the illegal sex trade by encouraging community participation in specialized educational programs.
“Education is just as important as enforcement because if we can help our community, help us, we can help get people out of horrible human trafficking situations as well as get those traffickers off the streets,” says Reno Police Department Public Information Officer Hunter Mercurio.
