It was an emotional Saturday on the slopes of Sky Tavern as ski patrollers paid tribute to three of the site’s past volunteers with a touching ceremony.
The ski resort held ‘The Last Ride,’ an afternoon procession down the mountain’s Keston Trail, dedicated to Al Drake, Char McLear, and Gerry Carr, all longtime ski patroller volunteers who died.
