A late-night call to a Sparks apartment complex on Friday has turned into a homicide investigation after a man was fatally stabbed and a suspect was later arrested.
On February 27 at approximately 10:55 p.m., Sparks Police responded to the Boulder Creek Apartments at 4005 Moorpark Court on a report of a battery with a deadly weapon. When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not released his identity.
