8-year-old airlifted after 30-foot fall from chairlift at Tahoe ski resort

An 8-year-old boy was airlifted to a Reno hospital Sunday after falling about 30 feet from a chairlift at Sierra-at-Tahoe ski resort in Twin Bridges (El Dorado County), according to media reports.

The fall occurred around 1:20 p.m. on the Grandview Express chairlift near the top terminal, South Tahoe Now reported, citing a resort spokesperson.
