RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – After receiving Eddie Ableser’s letter of resignation, the City of Reno is currently accepting applications to fill Ableser’s seat.
In his resignation letter, Ableser makes claims of a toxic board culture, saying in part:
“I have witnessed a culture of hostility and retaliation aimed at anyone who dared to hold leadership accountable. My adherence to law and proper governance procedures seemed to strike a nerve with leadership. I have experienced what I can only describe as an environment of toxicity and retaliation.”…
