Amazon is officially hiring in Northern Nevada.
The Northern Nevada Development Authority announced recently that the company has begun recruiting locally for its new data center project in Storey County. As part of that effort, Amazon will host a hiring event Monday, March 9 at Truckee Meadows Community College, giving job seekers the opportunity to meet recruiters and learn more about open positions. Recruitment is already underway for roles that will support both short- and long-term operations. Those include engineering positions, data center technicians, and installation technicians. The project is located at Switch’s Citadel Campus at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center and is expected to create high-quality jobs while generating local tax revenue that supports schools, public safety, and infrastructure across the region…
