LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada Zero Coalition announced Wednesday it was offering Lyft discounts during St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
The Zero Coalition is part of Nevada’s Zero Fatalities Program, which has committed to preventing impaired driving and keeping Nevada’s roadways safe.

In order to help prevent those who have been drinking from getting behind the wheel, the coalition is offering discounted Lyft rides in Las Vegas and Reno through St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
“St. Patrick’s Day is a celebration for many Nevadans, but it is also a time when impaired‑driving crashes historically increase,” Zero Fatalities Program Manager Anita Pepper said. “Whether it’s alcohol, cannabis, or prescription medication, driving under the influence is impaired driving. The Zero Coalition urges everyone to plan ahead, celebrate responsibly, and choose a sober ride. Lives are on the line.”…
