After five years without a marathon race in the Reno area, local runners will have another shot at to cross the finish line this spring with the inaugural Revel Reno Tahoe Marathon in May.
The Revel Reno Tahoe Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K are set for May 17, and will begin at the summit of the Mt. Rose Highway before finishing at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center — a 4,462-foot drop.
