Public Safety Alliance of Nevada endorses Tim Ross for Reno mayor

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – On Thursday, March 19, more than 15 Nevada law enforcement associations endorsed retired Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Tim Ross for Reno mayor, according to a campaign news release.

The Public Safety Alliance of Nevada is made up of the Carson City Deputy Sheriff’s Association, Carson City Sheriff’s Supervisory Association, Douglas County Sheriff’s Protective Association, Las Vegas Peace Officers Association, Las Vegas Peace Officers Supervisors Association, Las Vegas Police Managers’ & Supervisors’ Association, Las Vegas Police Protective Association, Nevada Police Union, North Las Vegas Police Officers Association, North Las Vegas Police Supervisors Association, Peace Officer Research Association of Nevada, Police Officer’s Association of Clark County School District, Sparks Police Protective Association, Washoe County School Police Officer’s Association, Washoe County Sheriff Deputies Association, and Washoe County Sheriff’s Supervisory Deputies Association.

“I am the only candidate for Reno mayor to receive the endorsement of law enforcement from the men and women in uniform around the state of Nevada,” Ross said. “I don’t take this endorsement lightly and will make every effort necessary to maintain law enforcement’s trust in me, while also continuing to work to earn the support of the citizens of Reno.”…
