Sunny Sunday ahead with lighter winds; Reno, Tahoe could tie or break more records

The record warmth continued on Saturday as both Reno and South Lake Tahoe reached new daily highs. Reno maxed out at 81 degrees, breaking the previous record of 80 degrees set back in 2004. South Lake Tahoe maxed out at 70 degrees, breaking the previous 1997 record of 68 degrees.

Sunday is looking great, with plenty of sunshine across the board. In Reno, temperatures will be hovering in the upper 40s around 8 AM, quickly warming into the 60s by lunchtime.
